My interest in Reflexology started in 1989 when I was pregnant with my daughter Abbie. I wanted Reflexology in labor because I had heard of things about it and that it helped with the pain. Unfortunately, I didn’t get round to having a treatment in labor but my sister-in-law bought me a book on Reflexology the day Abbie was born.
My interest turned into a hobby, I studied for two years and passed my exams in 1992 with The Bayly School of Reflexology the first school of this kind in England.
In 1998 I passed a course on Indian Head, Neck & Shoulder Massage. After a 20 year career in banking (something completely different)! I resigned from Midland Bank plc (HSBC).
In May 2007 I received a Diploma for Natural Lift Face Massage, a wonderfully relaxing treatment that works! I worked at Bupa Hospital and am a BUPA Apporved Therapist.
I have continued to study going to various lectures and courses including Basic Pathology, Nutrition and Back Pain workshops.
In the last 17 years I have successfully treated:- Acid Stomach, Back Pain, Frozen Shoulder, Hormonal Imbalances, IBS, Infertility, Insomnia, Sciatica, Headaches & Migraines and STRESS to name but a few!!!
I am the official Reflexologist for the Traditional & Sports Karate Club
My own Doctor benefits form his treatments from me. Ted Beckham also enjoyed his regular treatment inducing deep relaxation into his busy schedule.
This simple, relaxing, non-invasive treatment is available at Club Moativation, the health and fitness club, in the Holiday Inn Hotel Elstree.
Reflexology is increasingly recognised by athletes and professional sports personalities, for its effective healing qualities and power of relaxation, with a number of football clubs making regular treatment available for their team members.
